Sebastian Chavez
Since the age of 3, Sebastian Chavez started his first free-hand drawing that was created out of the alphabet, and many different shapes and sizes. With photogenic memory, it fulfilled his days actively capturing everything he saw onto paper. His first completed sketch was a character from his favorite tv show, SpongeBob SquarePants. It was a very good drawing for his age.
At the age of four, he attended kindergarten, and from there, he practiced more with the uses of colors and different type of media. On other occasions, his parents would hand him papers, markers, along with other types of media.
He quickly became bored with drawing simple lines of shapes, and felt the need to advance his skills with bigger and greater drawings. So, he turned and looked around his surrounding. With his great green eyes, he wondered around and noticed all the different shapes and sizes of the outside world, or what was just outside of his house, like trees, mountain, river...etc. Freeways, traffic lights, and street signs were some of his favorite things to draw.
One of his hobbies is working with different type of mixed-media. One big accomplished work he finish was a mural that included everything he felt was interesting in his life. The mural had everything from traffic signals, traffic lights, and anything you can image. The work was done in several months.
Months passed and Sebastian continued to his work of art. As he continued his work, he developed a greater artistic eye for including fine details on all his late works. He also enjoyed using his imagination with turning regular traffic lights into human being (life-liked) drawings. All of his works have captured his day to day events of how he view the good, the bad, and the interesting part of living.
Sebastian is 10 year old. He is Gifted on visual and performing arts. His working in his new project showing the three dimension building with full details. This project will be in exhibition in 2010.
He is representing by FREMONT GALLERY located in South Pasadena, CA.

Sebastian is in Fifth grade. His favorite subject in school are lenguage, Science, reading, and art.
